Based on recent figures, the number of individuals reaching 100 in the UK has grown by 100% from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.

Between 2004 and 2024, the figure of men aged 100 or over has grown by 200% from 910 to 3,100. Over the same timeframe, the number of female individuals reaching 100 increased by nearly 100% from 7,400 to 13,600.

We are eager to listen to individuals who have reached 100, their relatives or friends, about what it has been like to live through the past century’s transformative changes and changes.
